Fashion becomes E-fashion on 6 October. The Helen Mills Theater in New York will host RFId in Retail and apparel, the world’s largest event dedicated
to radio frequency identification technology in the Retail andApparel world.
E-Fashion will be discussed by the spokesmen of important brands, entrepreneurs and retailers, to share news and successful case histories as well as to deal with the increasingly specific demands of companies, both in the US and elsewhere, operating in the wholesale and retail sale of clothing and footwear.
The sessions intend to cover the four main areas of use of RFID technology:
- Inventory accuracy
- Out of stocks
- Product location
- Loss detection
In recent years, Rfid technology has found vertical markets in which to grow in the textile and, specifically, the clothing world. It is a technology that must be integrated in the production and logistic process, a tool which, if well integrated and understood, can reduce costs for the control and management of single items, from production to delivery to stores.
