Will we pray to Big Data in the future?

It is called Way of the Future: it is not a movie, a company or invention, rather a new religion. It has been founded by Anthony Levandowski, a former Google engineer who was fired among allegations that he had stolen trade secrets and sold them to Uber

Thus not a saint, but certainly someone with a clear idea of this new religion which, according to Wired Usa, was founded as early as 2015.

The mission of Way of the Future is to "develop and promote the realisation of a Godhead based on Artificial Intelligence": an invention that is no divine at all and is exclusively human, capable in any case of objectively improving living conditions.

Indeed, the progress of technology in this field has extensively proven that artificial intelligence can promote and implement the existential conditions of society as a whole: is this enough to transform it into an entity with divine features? Yes, according to Levandowski.

Will we worship a combination of Big Data in the future? The scenario is undoubtedly paradoxical yet undoubtedly interesting. We have no option but to wait on the side-lines and see what happens!
