The winter in California talks about technology & supply chain

The tremendous revolution that has involved the manufacturing and retailer supply chain in recent years will be the focus of the ninth edition of the High-Tech Supply Chain Summit, to be held on 6 and 7 December at the Tech Museum in San Jose, California.

The conference will take place at a time of great revolutions and innovations for this industry: starting from the development of technology 4.0 which, together with artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality and the Internet of Things is capable of transforming the supply chain into a seamless and almost entirely error-free process.

The key themes of the event include the risks and opportunities of an increasingly automated and interconnected industry, as well as the development of the so-called Smart Manufacturing”, made of machine-to-machine interactions and new technologies to store and use resources and energies in a targeted manner, rationalizing costs and maximizing performances.

More than 25 speakers, including major producers and retailers from all over the world, will meet to examine the current situation and to outline the future scenarios of a new demand-oriented and increasingly consumer-focused production ecosystem.
