With its 105,000 square metres of exhibition space, 2015 exhibitors and 12 thematic shows, MECSPE, the trade show dedicated to innovation in the manufacturing industry, returns to Parma from 22 to 24 March.
In line with the priorities repeatedly expressed by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the themes of the 17th edition include Industry 4.0, innovation and training, discussed through vertical focuses such as connectivity and tools for small enterprises, collaborative robotics , traceability, maintenance, additive manufacturing and logistics 4.0.
The thematic pavilions will be dedicated to mechanical and electronic subsupplying, robot manufacturers, the major system integrators in Italy, power transmissions and mechatronics. The exhibition will feature also the "holistic factory", where the 15 companies involved will represent the manufacturing factory of the future, a place of high technological and innovative density where machines, automation and the logics of 4.0 are well-balanced with human beings, who are still considered the creative and strategic centre of the entire production chain. The presentation of the national data of the MecSpe Observatory on Italian SMEs working in mechanics, will underline the issue, now more important than ever, of training and of the new professional figures required and necessary within the factory 4.0.
